So many years now ... It's getting harder and harder to think about things to surprise your 'significant other' with a valentine day's gift ...
Of course chocolates and candy are out of the question ... too chiche ... and much too used ... they may be a complement tho ...
Roses are always good, but again not by themselves ... bed of roses might be useful too ...
Anyone have any new ideas they might share with a fellow in trouble?

Throw in a mixtape (mix CD? mix mp3-playlist?) of nice romantic songs. Not overly-cheesy love ballads, though 1 wouldn't hurt, maybe some indie, some upbeat electronica too.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest something you invest your time and effort in to. Us girls really appreciate that. For example cook something for a romantic candle light dinner, as background music play the CD Damián recommended and fill the night with special details. These might include(and are not limited to): a hand made postcard, a couples game, a scrapbook with pictures of your activities together (www.blurb.com), a compilation of mementos from the places you have been together, etc. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! I appreciate the help!
ReplyDeleteI've done those already, except the mixed cd and hand-made card ... gives me a very nice idea ...
Now off to see if it's possible!
The scrapbook with mementos is a good idea, but I did that for our last anniversary hehe
